You see it everywhere – “Get your free PS3! Free PSP! Free Wii! Free $300! FREE! FREE! FREE!” and what first comes to mind, for all of us, is simply, “Why would anyone waste their time on a pointless scam!” And the fact of the matter is, a lot of it is just buckets of spam, overflowing into your email. Most companies will make you complete a set of expensive offers like a 2 year subscription to to a magazine or movie store. You may get your PSP, or your Wii, but you end up paying just as much as the Wii or PSP anyway.
But fear not, freebie fiends of America! There is hope! There are a few websites that give you free things without paying ANYTHING. I will list off the sites and then explain them.

Lockerz – A free website (invite through email only, if you’d like to join email me your email at email4lockerzlol@gmail.com), where you log in and answer 1 daily question to earn points. Logging in daily is 2 points a day. Answering the daily poll is 2 points (the poll is NOT on offer, you answer a simple question like what’s your favorite pizza). Referring other people gives you 2 points each, and, if you invite 20+ people you get a T-shirt and you get your points doubled for daily point opportunities (e.g. logging in 4 points, poll 4 points). When you start lockerz, You play the PTZ Catch game, where you earn about 30-40 points. Some of the prizes are PSP 3000-Rockband bundle, 200 points, most wii/xbox/ps2 games are about 100 points. There are bigger prizes like Flat-screen TV’s for 4000 points and motor scooters for 7500, but no one ever really gets that amount of points. They restock monthly, the only problem is, they don’t have a lot of prizes when they restock, but if you’re lucky enough to get one, Have fun! I’d rate this site: 3.5/5 (would be 5/5 if their was no restock dates, and they restocked in larger amounts, and their servers wouldn’t crash so often.) http://www.lockerz.com

Prizerebel – Prizerebel is a site where you complete offers to gain points to redeem pretty much any product from amazon. I’m not going to get into detail on this one, I’ve tried about 20 offers and 2 of them credited, so I wouldn’t recommend this site. I’d rate this site: 1.5/5 http://www.prizerebel.com

Points2shop – Points2shop doesn’t have anything to do with shopping, so don’t worry you don’t have to buy anything (which makes me curious why they chose points2shop, it should be points4shopping). Points2shop is a great website. Starting with their friendly users/administers. The shoutbox is a tool on the side of the poinst2shop web page. Any registered user can ask a question about points2shop and get answered by a whole slew of friendly users. Soon enough, you’ll be answering other newbies questions. Next they have great offers. For each and every offer, they have how fast the offer approves (Approval time) and how often it approves (Approval rate). It ranges from Very fast to Very slow and Very high to Very low. If Your offer didn’t approve (about 25% of the time, about 75% approve) you can easily send in a support ticket, asking what you did wrong in the offer, or asking why it didn’t work. You can submit a support ticket for anything! Orders, users, offers, etc. There are 7 different categories for earning points, Free offers, Free & Paid Trials, Daily Surveys, Real Surveys, Daily Clicks, Playing Games, and finally Referring new users. It’s easy and fast to earn points. Within about 10 days only going on minutes a day, I had bought a video game for the Wii and it’s shipping right now! You order directly from Amazon, meaning you can get pretty much any prize, and used prizes too! My friends have already received their prizes, and I am anxious to receive mine! There are so many other features to Points2shop, like competing with teams on games, the lottery, and the honor system, but explaining them all would take too long, and I’m sure by now, you just want to check out the site for yourself.
