Do any stores have the Playstation 3 system on sale for memorial day?
I am looking to buy a playstation 3 and was wondering if any stores had a discount price or special promotion if you buy on memorial day or during this week? Thanks for the help.
No. Authorized PS3 retailers are not permitted to put game consoles on sale. They must sell them at a price that Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo tells them to. This is why you always see free or discounted games & accessories instead of straight-up console discounts. If the store put a brand new PS3 on sale, then Sony would no longer stock their console with that store brand (and they probably would not stock their other electronic products either). This has been the case for years; game consoles are never, ever part of store sales for special days.
